Put Me In the Zoo!

We got up this morning and threw everything we needed into bags and headed to the zoo!!  As we pulled out of the driveway Mark yelled "put me in the zoo!" (his favorite book right now).  It was a great start to our trip.  The kids had a blast.  Since we have a zoo membership we try to see something different/new each time we go.  Today we saw alligators, kangaroo, bison and lots of birds and reptiles.  We ended up in the "family play area" which we had never checked out before.  It was AMAZING!  SO perfect for the kids!  They had a craft area, face painting, fisher price play area for the babies and LOTS of zoo staff walking around with animals that the kids could touch and ask questions about.  Im sure we didn't even take advantage of half of the things that were in there!  We will def head back there next time!  Everyone was passed out cold on the way home and then proceeded to take 3 and 4 hour naps!!  A win/win for everyone :)
